At Palmetto Health, your patient experience is top priority. We want to be remembered by each patient as providing the care and compassion we want for our families and ourselves. Those who have been touched by the outstanding care they received at Palmetto Health often look for a way to show their gratitude through kind words, letters of thanks and financial contributions.
You can be part of Palmetto Health Foundation's HEROES program, Hospital Employee Recognition of Excellent Service, to recognize the care you or a loved one received as a patient served by Palmetto Health. Your grateful patient gift may be made in honor of an entire staff or an individual physician, nurse or health care professional that had an impact on your experience. Gifts to Palmetto Health Foundation allow Palmetto Health to continue to offer a diverse range of services and programs targeted to meet specific community needs. Your contribution will stay right here in our community and will have a significant impact on the lives of many, including your family, friends and neighbors.
When you're a Palmetto Health patient, you are a member of the Palmetto Health family. Let's stay connected! If you have a patient experience you would like to share, send it to HEROES@PalmettoHealth.org.

A planned gift is a charitable contribution established during a donor's lifetime that may not be received in full by Palmetto Health Foundation until the donor's death. It provides an opportunity for charitable giving in circumstances that may not otherwise allow a donor to make a gift to a charitable organization. This type of gift is often made through wills, insurance policies and trusts that allow a donor to invest money so the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequests the remaining funds to the Foundation. Some planned gifts are structured so the Foundation receives regular contributions during the donor's lifetime while the donor receives charitable deductions and other tax benefits. Planned giving can be in the form of cash, real estate, stocks or other resources.
