Prisma Health Midlands Foundation engages community partners to enhance health care for patients and families served by Prisma Health. Your support will allow the hospital to continue to offer an array of services targeted to meet specific community needs. Philanthropic support is essential to maintain a level of excellence with new programs, services and equipment.
If you are interested in hosting an event to benefit an area of Prisma Health through Prisma Health Midlands Foundation, please read the Community Partners Fundraising Toolkit and complete the Community Partner Fundraising Event Application.
The following are year-round campaigns to benefit Prisma Health Children's Hospital—Midlands through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals:
Our friends at Speedway collect change year round, but balloons land on certain weekends. Don’t forget to stop by your local Speedway store and donate your spare change to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Proceeds benefit Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
South Carolina Drug Card is a statewide prescription assistance program, and all South Carolina residents are eligible to have their prescriptions processed through this Rx savings card. Each time a prescription is processed through South Carolina Drug Card, Prisma Health Children's Hospital–Midlands will receive a donation. Find out more here.
Doing a little de-cluttering? Consider donating your old household items to Sunshine Thrift Store. Sunshine Thrift Store, located at 3300 Two Notch Road in Columbia, donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of items to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Call 803-754-2075 to schedule a pickup time or to learn when the donation truck will be in your area. You also can drop off donations at the store. Accepted items include clothing, books, miscellaneous household items, furniture, appliances and electronics. Store hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Each year, 40–50 patients at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital experience a condition or injury that requires specialized rehabilitation. Help them stay at home for care.
At this time, it’s best for some medically fragile children to stay home. To help reduce any risk of these children being exposed to COVID 19, pediatric subspecialists and team members have been hitting the road in the Prisma Health Mobile Health Unit to see the children in their own communities.
They’re “Taking Children’s Hospital on the Road,” and we’re committed to keeping those wheels turning! Champions Society and Rising Champions, annual giving societies for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands, invite you to be part of their campaign to support this incredible mobile program for the kids.
