The winner of Miss World is determined by accumulative scores of “fast track events”, which are designed to test the candidates’ fitness, talent, modeling skill, public speaking, debate skill, social media interaction, and philanthropic endeavors. These fast track events include: Sports, Top Model, Talent, Multimedia, Interview, Debate, and Beauty with a Purpose. The event will be televised live on E! Entertainment in the United States and watched by over 1 billion people on networks worldwide. It is one of the most watched annual live events. Miss World 2017 will take place on November 18 in Sanya, China.
